BONS

Jovan Ilic, professionally known as Bons, is a distinguished drum and bass DJ and producer hailing from Novi Sad, Serbia. His journey into the realm of drum and bass, particularly Neurofunk, commenced in 2005 when he was introduced to the genre by his elder brother. Since then, he has fervently nurtured his affinity for intricate melodies and commanding Reese basslines.

Bons made his debut as a DJ in 2011, swiftly followed by his ventures into music production. In August 2017, he achieved a significant milestone with the release of his first EP, titled "Science Fiction," in collaboration with the group Colony, on Warfare Recordings.

Renowned for his remarkable sets, Bons seamlessly intertwines the pulsating sounds of Neurofunk with various sub-genres, including Minimal and Roller. Notably, his distinctive production style features an ingenious fusion of samples extracted from Balkan movies and video games, meticulously blended with robust and aggressive basslines.

Bons' musical prowess has earned him recognition and endorsement from esteemed figures within the Drum and Bass scene. Some notable names who have supported and showcased his compositions include Black Sun Empire, Cause 4 Concern, Concord Dawn  and many others.
